Even though I was playing nursemaid for ten days doing this to my husband…
Two injections and the flushing of his pheresis catheter should only take approximately five minutes of anyone’s time, but…
my patient’s chair was usually empty for up to an hour. I can understand the reluctance, but I was also tired of hollering, [...]

I joined Mystery Stole 4.
It’s not a bad thing, it’s just that I’m an indecisive beast and I’d like some opinions on which pairing of yarn and beads to use.

This project had been stagnating for two years.
When I cast off, I was actually a little afraid to have it touch water, for fear that it might disintegrate before my eyes.
Obviously, the wool stood the test of time.
This will be a Christmas gift for another sister-in-law.

I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
I’m going to try a write this post in approximately fifteen minutes while I have my second cup of coffee (can’t blog after only drinking one) and the house is still silent…except for the dog eating and the cat playing with the kibble he knocks onto the kitchen floor.
My husband has had his first [...]

Funny that. Sorry, just having a melancholy moment.
Anyway, I’ve been keeping busy and I give you a picture heavy post to begin your week.
As you know, I finally received my Majacraft Suzie Pro. She spins like a dream! I dug out some Romney fibre I bought from Spunky Eclectic called bubblegum and [...]

Christmas has passed.
The shopping, the cooking, the baking, the hanging of decorations, the planning, the cleaning, the traveling, etc…all done for another year. Now, it’s time to rest and celebrate the coming of a new year. I am gladly leaving this one behind and I’ll leave it at that.
My boy was thrilled with [...]

If you have a schematic for a cardigan that reads for a finished width of [S]50cm; [M]55cm; [L]60cm and the recommended gauge is 24 stitches over 10cm what do you have?
Wrong measurements?
I don’t know. I was knitting along on my Kauni…la la la, la. Checking my gauge periodically as I’m knitting along…la la [...]

I, of course, have started knitting the Kauni cardigan. I’ve decided to try a different hem. I went with what you see here.
I think it looks pretty good…that and I didn’t have to suffer knitting a corrugated rib. The thought of that gave me the heebie-jeebies.
Keep On Knitting…

I got it!
I’m off to wind some really large skeins.
——————————————————————————–
All wound.
I received two giant skeins [I hear the company isn't making them this way anymore] and one of the newer 150g skeins, which is what is available now. This is a total of 800 grams. I wanted [...]
