Help!

Posted by: alwayscastingon on: August 16, 2008

I joined Mystery Stole 4.
It’s not a bad thing, it’s just that I’m an indecisive beast and I’d like some opinions on which pairing of yarn and beads to use.

I’m On a Roll

Posted by: alwayscastingon on: July 31, 2008

This project had been stagnating for two years.
When I cast off, I was actually a little afraid to have it touch water, for fear that it might disintegrate before my eyes.
Obviously, the wool stood the test of time.
This will be a Christmas gift for another sister-in-law.

The Snot Has Left the Building…

Posted by: alwayscastingon on: April 15, 2007

Too much info?
Ah well, my elation is such that I felt the need to share.
After two weeks of sneezing, blowing, sniffling, coughing and yes, sometimes weeping, I’m back to my relative healthy self and back to knitting on my Dragone shawl.
See, much better.
Even though it was a lot of work, [...]

How Do You Spell Relief?

Posted by: alwayscastingon on: March 22, 2007

I managed, with the dexterity of a skilled and whacked out neurosurgeon, to rip my shawl back to row 131. I am thrilled to itty-bitty pieces.
I thought I’d try and show you what I was trying to describe in yesterday’s post about the twisting stitch.
Here is a wee section of the graph [...]
